Check promo code troubleshooting — Common problems and solutions
Having issues with your promo code? Here are common problems and solutions:
Code already used
If you see an error that the code has already been used, it may have expired or reached its usage limit. Try checking for a newer code or contact Check support.
Existing account
Promo codes are typically for new users only. If you have an existing account, create a new one with a different email or phone number.
Region not eligible
Check operates in specific cities in the Netherlands. Make sure you're in a supported area. See our cities page for availability.
Payment method issues
Ensure your payment method is valid and up to date. The promo code discount is applied before payment, so make sure your card or payment method works.
Update app
Make sure you're using the latest version of the Check app. Outdated versions may not support promo codes properly.
Reinstall app
If nothing else works, try uninstalling and reinstalling the Check app, then enter the code again.
